Star
(now called Sadie)

Star arrived on Tuesday 21st August 2018
Went to her new home on Friday 14th September 2018.
Sadly Star was returned on Wednesday 17th October 2018
through no fault of her own and went to her forever home that same day.

RACING NAME: RAHTULLA STAR
EARMARK: PB - ABZ
DATE OF BIRTH: 07/2014
COLOUR: WHITE AND BLACK
WEIGHT:
INOCULATED: 21/01/2018

Star is a very pretty white and black ex-racing Greyhound who has a lovely nature, but can grumble at other dogs upon meeting them.  This is something we sometimes see in female dogs of this age especially if the other dog greets them 'in their face'.
She is a lovely dog who is house trained, spayed, inoculated and microchipped.  She walks lovely on the lead and loves being cuddled.

Went to her new home on Wednesday 17th October 2018.
Star's Diary
21st August 2018
Star, or Starlet, as we are going to call her with her having the same name as our Star, arrived this afternoon and what a beautiful dog she is.
She was introduced to the others and was soon mixing with them in the garden.
14th September 2018
This afternoon our pretty Starlet went off to her new home where we hope she will be very happy.

28th September 2018
We heard today that Star has slept on her own downstairs quite happily from 10.00pm to around 7am each night, and has been having two, three mile walks each day.
The scar from her spay flared up twice and needed two lots of antibiotics.  Her new owner's vet thought it may have been an allergic reaction to the pds suture used or she may have been highly sensitive towards it.
17th October 2018
Sadly Star was returned this morning through no fault of her own and was adopted this afternoon by a gentleman who'd just lost his greyhound.  He was sorely in need of another companion and fell in love with Star instantly, so took her home with him.  This will be Star's forever home and we hope she has a long and happy life there.
