Lucy arrived on Thursday 11th April 2019.
Went to her new home on Wednesday 5th June 2019.

Lucy is a blue Greyhound
DATE OF BIRTH: 17/12/2017
WEIGHT: 26.0 kg.
Lucy was only part way through her puppy schooling in Ireland and came here because they found her difficult to settle in the trap before a race and to catch once the race had finished.  She was popped on the ferry and brought straight here where we are teaching her how to live in a home with other dogs and become a pet with no need to be anxious of anything.
Lucy is house trained, spayed, inoculated and microchipped. She can be shy of people she doesn't know at the moment and even cowers in a corner, but with love, affection and a gentle assertive leader she comes out of her shell and becomes very loving and playful, loves her toys!  At first when we took her by the collar she would attempt to nip us, but this was just a tiny puppy nip and a cuddle would reassure her we mean't no harm.  When going for a walk once you get her out the front door and away from the house she knows, she walks lovely on the lead, but can be a little jumpy at the moment with strange noises. She travels well in a car and at the moment we feel she is best suited to a home with another dog.  Not in a town where there is a lot going on, which can be too much for her to take in.  Lucy has come along way since the day she arrived, but we are expecting her to go back a step or two until she gets to know her new owner.

Went to her new home on Wednesday 5th June 2019.
